ÉA 40-year old Filipina and a 29-year old American have traded charges of hurting each other, resulting in their case ending up at Eastern Court.

Paulsrude appeared briefly Friday (May 22) before Principal Magistrate David Cheung.
They were granted bail of $1,000 each.

Manning, a cook, and unemployed Paulsrude had a dispute last
Jan. 28 in a flat at 8 Square Street in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
The dispute resulted in police filing against the Filipina a
charge of wounding, contrary to section 19 of the Offences Against the Person
Ordinance.

Martin,” the charge sheet said.

A charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contrary
to Common Law and punishable under section 39 of the Offences against the
Person Ordinance, was in turn filed against Paulsrude.
