A bright sunny day greeted all those who gathered at Repulse Bay Beach on Mar 6 to join Abante Cagayanos Hong Kong in celebrating its fourth founding anniversary celebration and to compete in the group's annual sports fest.Heading the list of guests was Vice Consul Alex Vallespin
As before, all participants were divided into four competing teams. The Yellow team shone in the cheer dance competition, while B was the best in sand castle making. The other games played were: tug of war, fill-in water game, and relay.
At the end of the contest, the Blue, Yellow and Green teams had the same score, and were jointly held as overall champions.
The event was capped with a raffle draw where the top prize was a mobile phone with a power bank.
Apart from the Cagayanos, those who joined the celebration were members and leaders of friendly organizations like Mindanao Migrants Alliance, One Visaya, Isabela Federation, Unified Villavisiosa Abra, United Nueva Viscayanos, United Group of Batangas, GPII Hong Kong Legion, Kabalikat OFW Bicol International, Association of Luzonian Overseas Workers and Tinikling Group of Migrants.
