Get your umbrellas
out, heavy rains are back.
This is the message
from the Hong Kong Observatory, which said there will be heavy rains and
squally thunderstorms in the city from Monday until Friday.
Rainstorm warning
signals are also likely, depending on how heavy the rain falls in the next couple of days.

PINDUTIN PARA SA DETALYE |
This is due to a
trough of low pressure over southern China that will gradually edge closer to
the coast of Guangdong on Monday, bringing unsettled weather to the region,
including Hong Kong.
Thus, there is a “high”
probability of significant rain over the next five days – or even longer
depending on the development of the “Meiyu trough.”

The forecast for Monday is mainly cloudy with a few showers and thunderstorms. Showers will be more frequent later in the day and on Tuesday, when thunderstorms are also expected.
Temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees.
The outlook for the next couple of days is for unsettled weather with occasional heavy rains and squally thunderstorms.
The Observatory has advised everyone to check the weather forecast before going out to work or to school, and give enough time for travel as the situation could deteriorate at any time.
