A Filipina domestic helper who has just arrived from the Philippines is among 30 new cases of Covid-19
infections in Hong Kong , raising the overall
tally to 387.
The Consulate immediately confirmed the report, initially
announced by the Centre for Health Protection. There are now seven Filipino
Covid-19 patients in Hong Kong hospitals now,
and the Consulate says it is extending them all necessary assistance.

Four other confirmed Filipino patients had been discharged
after treatment earlier.
In its report today, the CHP also reported that six new
confirmed cases were linked to the Filipino musician in Lan Kwai Fong who was
confirmed to have the disease late on Mar 22. Five of them are musicians in the
same band, and one is a waitress in the pub where they played.
At the press conference, health officials reportedly said the musicians were all black, and had shared instruments. They reportedly played in
Insomnia bar in Central and Centre Stage and Dusk Til Dawn in Wanchai.

However, other reports said the five are all Filipinos
belonging to the same band as the first confirmed musician.
Consul General Raly Tejada says he has been informed of only
one Filipino case today, the one involving the newly arrived domestic worker.
