He received two doses of the BioNTech vaccine in Hong Kong on Apr 8 and 29 this year, then took a third dose in the UK on Nov 5, or five days before flying out.
He took the city’s total confirmed cases to 12,377 with one probable case.

Separately, the Centre for Health Protection has put a residential child care centre in Mong Kok on compulsory testing notice, after 32 children in the facility were reported as having developed upper respiratory tract infection, or URTI.

The children, comprising 21 boys and 11 girls, aged one to three years, old, developed fever, cough, and runny nose since Nov. 5. Twenty-one sought medical attention, and two required hospitalization. All are in stable condition.
Officers of the child care centre have been advised to take infection control measures against respiratory illnesses, while the facility has been put under medical surveillance.

URTI has been reported in several kindergartens and child care facilities since the start of the year. Most of the affected children did not require hospitalization, but many suffered from fever and other flu-like symptoms.
