Hong Kong’s mornings will gradually warm up starting tomorrow, with the minimum temperature rising by a degree daily from 14 degree Celsius to 18 degrees by Thursday, according to a forecast from the Hong Kong Observatory.
The daytime temperature, however will hover between 20 and
22 degrees.

The Observatory attributed this change to the wanig
northeast monsoon, which is being replaced by a fresh flow of easterly winds,
which is expected to last until the middle of next week.
“Another surge of the northeast monsoon is expected to
affect southern China afterwards,” it added.

Humidity in the morning is also expected to rise from 40% on
Monday to a peak of 65% by Wednesday, and then steadying at 60 until Saturday,
before settling at 40% by next Saturday.
The daytime humidity is expected to have the same trend,
peaking at 85% by Wednesday.
