Five pieces of expensive jewelry have brought a domestic helper a 10-month jail sentence after she pleaded guilty today to theft at West Kowloon Court.
Khenny Grace Orbe, 37 years old,
was convicted by Magistrate Vivian Ho for violation of section 9 of the Theft
Ordinance.
As a result of her guilty plea, a previously scheduled hearing
date on July 30 was also vacated.

Orbe was accused in a pol;ice complaint with stealing two
diamond necklaces, one Chanel earring and two diamond rings, valued at a total of
$135,888, the property of female Chan Lok-sze.
Police said the theft took place between
November 2025 and May 2026, at a flat in La Rossa B, 12. Tung Chung Waterfront
Road, Tung Chung, Lantau.
