| Lucky Me products on sale at YATA Yuen Long |
Products from two popular Filipino food brands, Lucky Me and Jack n Jill, are now available for purchase from the Hong Kong outlets of Japanese supermarket chain, YATA, until May 20.
The two food brands are among those taking part in YATA’s
“Asian Food Fair,” a 14-day promotion campaign that kicked off on May 7.

Their participation was made possible by the
Department of Trade and Industry in the Philippines through its Hong Kong arm,
the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Hong Kong (PTIC-HK).
YATA said the campaign may be extended, depending on
the sales performance of the food products selected.

YATA is the third major supermarket chain in Hong
Kong to showcase products from the Philippines, after a similar campaign of Wellcome
and Market Place last year.
PTIC says the trend reflects the growing demand for
Philippine flavors in the Hong Kong market and the continuous increase in
acceptance among local consumers.
