Hong Kong Police have confirmed the arrest last week of a 39-year-old Filipina whose visa status was not mentioned, for allegedly using a cutter to damage two signs inside a public toilet in Sham Shui Po.
Police were called by a cleaner at about 1pm on November 17 after the Filipina allegedly ushed inside the toilet on Apliu Street and slashed two “Cleaning in Progress” signs with a box cutter.
Reports said the woman was acting erratically and appeared to be highly agitated at the time.

Officers who rushed to the place searched the woman’s backpack and discovered a second cutter.
The police arrested her for possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage, before she was taken to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment..
