The Inabel Showcase, which had been cancelled recently due to heavy rains, has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 9, at 1 p.m. at Narra Hall, Filipino Workers Development and Social Centre, 18th floor of United Centre in Admiralty,
The fashion show, organized by the Consulate General in
collaboration with Mabika Society Hong Kong, highlight the artistry of fashion
designers and artisans from the Cordillera Administrative Region, featuring
traditional weaves, clothing, and creative works that celebrate the richness of
the Philippines’ cultural heritage.

Mabika Society Hong Kong is a collective of Igorot groups
from the six provinces of the Cordillera Administrative Region based in Hong
Kong.
The group promotes Cordillera heritage through traditional
textiles, crafts, and cultural performances, while fostering unity and pride
among the Filipino diaspora.

The Inabel Showcase aims
to honor the craftsmanship of Cordillera artisans while presenting their
creations in a contemporary manner. It will be an afternoon of culture,
creativity, and pride, bringing together the Filipino community in Hong Kong to
appreciate and support the artistry of our kababayan.
